This 5/16" marine grade shock cord is made from virgin rubber that won't lose its stretch, and is covered with a UV and moisture resistant Dacron polyester sheath. It's the best possible bungee we could find for our catamaran system and other deck rigging options.

If building catamaran attachments from scratch as opposed to buying the kit, you'll need 2 feet per attachment point, although we strongly recommend purchasing twice this much for mistakes and to have spare pieces on hand for re-rigging if damage occurs on the water. Order 4 feet for the front deck bungee loop we use as a general tie down and as the sail traveler on the front deck.
