Custom-sized for Cape Falcon decks, this spray skirt uses an adjustable tunnel draw cord as opposed to a fixed tunnel size. The Aquatherm adjustable waist tube allows for a much larger range of fitting compared to the fixed waist, which is ideal for sharing skirts or layering up for cold weather paddling. Note that the small/medium fits like a fixed tunnel on 35 inch waist (measured at the widest point, not hips).

Ladies benefit from the adjustable waist tube as the design allows for curves in the paddler, making it much more comfortable while maintaining the same if not better performance than the fixed waist.

We stock all three CFK keyhole deck sizes in the S/M and L/XL adjustable tunnel sizes at our shop in Oregon. See the image in the listing for how to double check the fit on your coaming, and if your CFK coaming falls outside of those parameters we suggest purchasing a neoprene spray skirt instead because the deck sizing is more forgiving.

Tunnel Sizes
S/M up to 36''/91cm
L/XL up to 42''/107cm
XXL up to 50"/127cm (custom order, 4-6 week lead time)

Note: XXL tunnels or add-ons like map loops and bale hole, are custom order and will ship directly from Reed. Expect 4-6 weeks to receive custom items.

Aquatherm:
Reed's proprietary Aquatherm fabric is 20 times more abrasion resistant than neoprene. It has 360 degree stretch, instant memory return, and has 80% less volume and weight compared with traditional neoprene products without compromising performance. It is comfortable, durable and supple, UV stable, waterproof and fast drying.

Optional Add-ons:
Map Loops: four D-rings—two on either side of the forward deck—allow you to run an elastic cord through to make your own webbing for securing items closer to yourself during a paddle such as maps, drink bottles or other required kit.

Bale Hole: A dry bag entry to the inner cockpit through a sleeve without removing the Spray Deck, very handy and much safer than removing the deck during paddling. Originally used for bailing out water from the kayak with a bilge pump the Bale-Hole is also useful for putting away or retrieving kit while on the water. The Bale-hole rolls up and is fastened to keep the deck water-tight when not in use. The entry is 38cm circumference, allowing even larger hands entry into the cockpit.
